Terms of Service
Last updated 12 October 2026.
1. Who we are
PPTCompress (pptcompress.app) is run by Mustard Seed Solutions sp. z o.o., Domaniewska 37, 02-672 Warszawa, Poland, REGON 544060245, NIP 7011300962. Contact: [email protected]. By using the site or buying a plan you agree to these terms.
2. The service
PPTCompress makes smaller copies of PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt), PDF, Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx) files, mainly by resizing and re-encoding the images inside them. Your original file is not changed. How much smaller a file gets depends on its content; we do not promise a particular size or reduction, and some files cannot be made smaller.
Uploads and results are deleted from our server within 60 minutes. Download your result before then and keep your original. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
You need a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled. Free use needs no account.
3. Your files and acceptable use
Only upload files you have the right to process. Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or files designed to harm the service. Do not get around usage limits, for example with many accounts or automated bulk requests. We may block uploads or suspend accounts that break these rules. If a document must never leave your network, do not upload it to an online compressor.
4. Accounts
An account is needed for purchased credits and Pro. You sign in with Google or an email link sent to your address. Keep access to that email account secure; activity in your account is treated as yours. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by email; unused credits and remaining subscription time are lost when the account is deleted.
5. Plans and payment
- Free: up to 3 files a day, 30 MB per upload.
- 20 credits, €4.99 one-time: 20 successful compressions, up to 95 MB per upload. Credits do not expire while the service operates. No automatic renewal.
- Pro monthly, €4.99 a month, or Pro annual, €39 a year: 200 successful compressions each calendar month, up to 95 MB per upload. Unused compressions do not roll over.
Each successfully processed file uses one compression. Failed jobs do not use credits or allowance. Prices are in euro; any applicable tax is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe on its hosted checkout page; we do not see or store your card details.
Pro renews automatically at the end of each period at the price then in effect until you cancel. If we change a Pro price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
6. Cancelling Pro
You can cancel any time from your account page (Manage subscription) or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period, except as described below.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
14-day right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU and UK). You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. When you buy, you ask us to start providing the service immediately. If you withdraw, we refund the part you have not used: the share of unused credits in a pack, or for Pro the share of the paid period that is left. Once a credit pack has been fully used, there is nothing left to refund.
To withdraw, email [email protected] from your account email with a clear statement, for example: "I withdraw from my purchase of [plan] made on [date]."
Outside the withdrawal period payments are non-refundable, except where we charged you in error (for example twice), where a paid feature did not work and we could not fix it, or where the law requires a refund.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe within 14 days of our decision. Credits or allowance covered by a refund are removed from your account.
8. Complaints
If something went wrong, email [email protected] with your account email, what happened and, if possible, the date and file type. We reply within 14 days. This does not affect your statutory rights; consumers can also contact their local consumer authority.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it is always available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. Always check your compressed file before relying on it. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. Changes to paid plans apply from your next purchase or renewal, and we will email account holders about important changes. Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts there.
